What is Mental Health? What is Good Mental Health? These are common questions that we don't necessarily know the answer to, but we know when our mental health is struggling. Mental Health is our ability to bounce back to our typical way of being from a negative, or even positive experience. The longer it takes for us to recoup after an experience, the increased chance that our mental health is struggling. Keep in mind that it often takes about 30-45 to come down from being emotionally flooded.
Taking care of ourselves, intentionally and with purpose, is the type of self-care that can help us bounce back from adversity.
